The wrong equation we have is 33 + 7 = 15.

Move one matchstick from from second 3 of 33 and place it on the left of that 3. So, the '3' becomes '2'.
Now, take one matchstick from the '+' sign and put it on the left side of the '5'. This changes the '+' into a '-', and the '5' becomes '6'. The equation now reads: 23 - 7 = 16.
